We are off to a great start. Back to School Night was well attended. I hope you had the chance to learn about your child's classroom activities and grade level expectations. The teachers appreciated your support and enthusiasm, and they look forward to a successful partnership throughout the year. If you weren't able to attend, the teachers can send the materials home with your child.
Please check the Coles website. It is improving and being updated more and more frequently. (www.spfk12.org/coles). The school handbook is one of the documents you can reference on the website.
Please keep your child's safety and comfort in mind. The weather conditions often vary this time of the year. Children will be walking around the school and the playground so they need to be able to move easily. Once again, the theme of the costumes should be school-appropriate and avoid violence (no guns, blood, weapons, etc.).
This year, Mrs. Nancy Arvizzigno will be our Resolve counselor. She will teach several whole group lessons to all classes grades 1-4. She also works with individuals and small groups. To learn more, please refer to your handbook or call to speak with her.
