From the Principal |
Our thirty-seventh annual Halloween Parade has been planned for Friday, October 29, at 1:00 p.m. on the school grounds. If it rains, students will still dress up and we will have the parade inside. Students should bring their costumes to school to change, since costumes and make-up are not worn in the morning, except for AM Kindergarten children, who are to arrive at school in their costumes. AM Kindergarten children are invited to participate in the afternoon parade. We ask parents to bring their AM Kindergarten children to school by 1:00 and meet their teacher at the door they use for morning arrival. AM Kindergarten parents are asked to take their children home after the parade.
If your child is going home for lunch, please meet him/her outside the main door. Only the children who are not returning after lunch must be signed out of school through the office.
We would like to take this opportunity to invite parents to attend the parade. Parents, younger siblings and visitors who wish to join us may watch the parade from the grass along the sidewalk and black top only. Parents and visitors must keep the sidewalks and black top clear for the students. If it rains, parents may gather in the multi-purpose room. Children will then pass through the multi-purpose room, walking across the stage, so everyone can be seen. We look forward to seeing you on Friday, October 29, at 1:00 p.m.
