I'd like to thank all of you for your support of our school and the PTA. Through your generous contributions and enthusiastic commitment, we are able to enrich the Coles School experience for all.
A special thanks to all who responded to the e-mail regarding Coles Kids Care and holiday gifts for children in need here at Coles. Your compassion and generous spirit continues to touch me deeply.
If for some reason your home phone, address or emergency contacts have changed, please contact the office so that the corrections can be made.
School will be closed Friday, January 14 and Monday, January 17.
Coles Science Night will be Wednesday, February 2.
Coles Super Science Saturday will be Saturday, February 5.
Children should not be sent to school when there are symptoms of illness. Please keep your child home until an elevated temperature has returned to normal for at least 24 hours WITHOUT the need for fever-reducing medications. Children returning too soon often appear in the Nurse's Office, they are unable to function in the classroom, and expose others to illness.
Layered clothing is helpful. Some classrooms are warmer than others. Children must also be prepared to go outside for recess whenever possible. This will ensure that our children will be comfortable outside, and that they will enjoy the fresh air and be rejuvenated for the afternoon session.
