Birthday Book Club
Dear Parents/Guardians,
Are you looking for a unique way to help celebrate your child’s birthday? Why not join the BIRTHDAY BOOKS program here at Coles!
To honor your son or daughter, you may donate the cost of a new book for our library collection. I keep a special collection of new books in my office that I use for birthday book selections. I will also go to a local bookstore and buy books on topics of special interest. A special bookplate will be placed in the front of the new book with your child’s name and birth date.
When the book has been processed and is ready for circulation, a photo of your child will be taken holding their birthday book. All photos will be displayed in the library on a special BIRTHDAY BOOKS bulletin board.
If you are interested in donating a book, please fill out and return this form, and I will make the necessary arrangements. Please notify me at least a week before your child’s birthday so that the book will be ready on time.
This is a wonderful way to both honor your child and to take an instrumental role in the development of a good library collection. Thank you.
