A brand-new musical (that is a play all jumbled together with singing and dancing, I believe). And what do you know! It's all about me, Junie B. Jones! This is the bestest musical ever, I tell you! It's got loads of funny songs, and it's based on a bunch of books this lady, Barbara Park, wrote about me and the things I do in first grade.

About Tips and Thank-you Gifts
Guidelines regarding tips and thank you's for volunteers

Due to the extreme variations in opinions regarding "Thank You's," the following guidelines have been set:

PTA Funds may not be used for giving any volunteer "thank you" gifts or tips. The cost of any gift given to volunteers will have to be provided by the committee chair(s). An inexpensive suggestion is to host a potluck luncheon. In addition any thank you gifts to the office staff will have to be provided by the committee chair(s).

An exception to this rule would involve the school custodians. The custodians are responsible for an extraordinary amount of extra work when a PTA event takes place. Due to this, a reasonable amount of compensation may be authorized to thank them. This amount should be included in the budget figures established in the beginning of the school year. Prior approval MUST be granted if the event or project is over budget or the gift will cause an overage.
