  The fourth graders at Evergreen Elementary School in Scotch Plains enjoyed learning about Día De Los Muertos, a popular Mexican holiday that commemorates the dead. Señora Lipton’s students are shown here with their decorated calaveras, or sugar skulls, which were provided by Tinga Restaurant in Westfield.  The skulls will be on display at the restaurant from October 31st  until November 11th.
