JAZZ BAND

  The Park Middle School Jazz Band is comprised of students in the 7th and 8th grades. Blind auditions for the wind instruments, such as saxophone and trombone, are held in June of the previous school year. Open auditions for the rhythm section [bass, piano, guitar, and drums] are held October/November of the current school year. Attendance at all rehearsals is mandatory; a parental note is required for absences. The Jazz Band performs at the

Jazz Night and the Spring Concert in May/June.
