PTA Objectives

The School One PTA is a member of the National Congress of PTA, New Jersey PTA, Union County PTA and the Scotch Plains-Fanwood PTA Council. The objectives of the School One PTA are:

To promote the welfare of children and youth in home, school, community and place of worship.

To raise the standards of home life.

To secure adequate laws for the care and the protection of children and youth.

To bring into closer relation the home and the school, that parents and teachers may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.

To develop between educators and the general public such united efforts as will secure for all children and youth the highest advantages in physical, mental, social and spiritual education.

 

Meetings

PTA Executive Board Meetings are held in the Media Center between 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm. The meeting dates for the year 2007-2008 are:

September 19, 2007	November 13, 2007
January 16, 2008	April 8, 2008
May 8, 2008	June 11, 2007

PTA General Meeting dates for the year 2007-2008 are:

October 4, 2007 @ 7:15 pm
