For over 30 years, the Pre-kindergarten programs of the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools have offered nurturing educational support to eligible children in the district who demonstrate school readiness needs.

The Pre-K Program has come to be known as a preventive program that seeks to reduce the need for remedial services for children once they have entered the regular school program. Our teachers and staff foster each individual child's emotional, social, and intellectual growth and give them the kind of confidence in their growing abilities that starts them on the best path to lifelong learning.
