Terrill Middle School

Freshman For A Day

In an effort to introduce your son or daughter to the opportunities that Scotch Plains-Fanwood High School has to offer, your child is invited to spend a day with a current freshman experiencing a typical high school day.

Terrill Middle School’s visitation days will run from April 12-May 1, 2007. The program will be limited to 15-20 participants per day. Students will be matched with one of our ninth grade Honor Roll students and will follow their schedule. Requests to shadow with a particular freshman student will not be honored.

Parents and guardians are responsible for arranging student transportation to and from the school. There will be no bus transportation. The school day will begin at 8:00 A.M., in Room C-101, across from the Principal’s Office. Please have students enter through the Evergreen side entrance of the building near the Main Office. Attendance will be taken and visitors will be introduced to their hosts. Please send a bag lunch and a few dollars for a snack or drink with your child. Students should wear sneakers to participate in Phys. Ed. The last class of the day ends at 2:24 P.M. Parents should meet students for pick up at the Evergreen side entrance of the building near the Main Office.

Please respond to this invitation by February 9th by submitting the form (click here to download pdf document) to Mrs. Maryann Degnan, Grade 8 Counselor. You will receive notice of the date assigned for your student’s visit at least one week in advance.
