Dear Park/Terrill Families,
With a little less than a month before school begins, we wanted to provide you with a few important reminders and updates. The administration has created a "Health and Safety PSA," which outlines some important new protocols that everyone will be required to follow. Please click here for the link.
After you watch it, please watch it with your child so they understand what to expect in the fall. Additional information regarding academic expectations, updates to the code of conduct, and a virtual walk through of a student schedule will also be provided to you in the coming weeks.
Also, if you could not tune in to last night's YouTube broadcast of the middle and high school reopening plans, here is a link: MS/HS Restart Plans.
This presentation includes helpful information related to the schedule, virtual and hybrid instructional models, and more.
Finally, we would like to provide you with an update about our decision regarding backpacks. Based on your feedback, middle schools will be permitted to carry drawstring bags of any kind. This is to provide privacy for students carrying personal care items as well as enabling students to safely transport their new iPads. Thank you for sharing your feedback; we hope this change helps make the transition back a bit smoother.
We hope these communications are helpful as you and your family prepare to return to school either in person or virtually!
Dr. Kevin Holloway
