I have been teaching for a total of 26 years and the 2018-19 school year will mark my 22nd at Park Middle School. I started my career in the area of Special Education and moved into General Education to teach 6th Grade Science 18 years ago.

My mission as a teacher is to encourage each child to meet his/her full potential. My goal is to teach the necessary skills, strategies, and coping techniques needed to enable him/her to become successful in all areas; academically, socially, and emotionally. I strive to foster enthusiasm for learning by creating an atmosphere that is positive and nurturing. This environment is free from negativism. Every thought, every idea, and every opinion is encouraged and welcomed! It is in this environment where the highest level of respect is upheld for all.
