Students have a one-hour lunch/recess period.  

The Board of Education has contracted with Pomptonian Food Service.  The elementary lunch program offers students healthy meals from a choice of different lunches:

A choice of two daily hot lunches that include entrée, bread, two selections of fruit and vegetable, and a choice of milk or juice.

A bagel bag that includes a bagel, cream cheese, fruit selection, vegetable and milk or juice.

A yogurt bag that includes 8 ounces low-fat yogurt, baby carrots, fruit selection a roll and milk or juice.

A cereal bag that includes Cheerios, cheese cubes, fruit, vegetable, and milk or juice.

A chef salad that includes tossed greens with turkey, turkey ham and cheese with a roll and milk or juice.
 A deli special that changes each week w

ith a milk or juice included.

The choice of milk offered with lunch includes skim, low-fat white,  low-fat chocolate.
