Mrs. Erica Bruns

Physical activity and health have been very important parts of my lifestyle. Health and physical education are important in helping kids develop skills, concepts, and dispositions needed to be physically active for life. Sports are not for everyone, but this is not what physical activity is all about. Yes, sports are one type of physical activity but there are many other activities that you can take part in that do not have to do with sports. Some examples include: hiking, biking, running, walking, etc. It is important to find what your favorite activities are and do them regularly. This will help promote a healthy lifestyle that will start in your younger years and carry on throughout the rest of your life. Sufficient, regular physical activity will help you live a long, happy, and healthy life!

Some of my favorite activities include: playing field hockey, walking Harper (my German Shepherd), and going on long bike rides!
