I am so excited to be your child’s new Spanish teacher at Evergreen Elementary School here in Scotch Plains. It’s going to be a great year full of new friends, new adventures, and new discoveries in learning Spanish. This will be my first year teaching at Evergreen Elementary School. I enjoy reading, traveling and being outdoors. Let’s make this an incredible year!

Our class meets twice a week for 40 minutes. Your child will be cared about. I value their ideas, thoughts, and actions. Each child has unique talents and strengths and I can’t wait for my students to share them!

For 2nd grade, we will be learning about:

-the Spanish alphabet, introductions and greetings, expressing their feelings in Spanish, colors, numbers, counting, days of the week, insects, the jungle-fruits and animals of Costa Rica.

For 3rd grade, we will be learning about:

-family and pets, numbers, months, seasons, weather, clothes, 

For 4th grade, we will be learning about:

-continents, Spanish speaking countries and their cultures, flags, mexican food and describe tastes, how to purchase in a mercado.
