My name is Ms. Batra and this is my 14th year teaching at Park Middle School! I attended Rutgers with an undergrad in history and a masters degree in k-8 education with a specialization in 6-8 social studies. This path led me to teach 6th-grade geography! The term is a bit of a misnomer, as we focus mostly on global issues, analyzing them, and examine solutions. With this in mind, my overall goal is to help shape global citizens who view their world from different perspectives. 

I also grew up in Scotch Plains! I am so blessed to be able to give back to the community that helped to shape me!
