Welcome to General Music and Chorus! 

My name is Kelly Ruggieri, and I am the vocal teacher at Evergreen Elementary School! As an Evergreen alumnus, I am so happy to be back in this wonderful school to teach music. I hope to bring fun and excitement into the music classroom while meeting the needs and interests of each student.

What is General Music? 
This is a PK-4th grade class where students will learn about singing, rhythms, melody, composers, instruments, dance, and more! They will engage in this subject through reading, writing, listening, movement, playing instruments, composing, and improvising. 

What is Chorus? 

This is a 4th grade class that meets once a week. We prepare songs for concerts through practicing proper singing technique, singing in harmony/unison, reading rhythms/melodies, and more. Students and families will hear more about the concerts throughout the year.
