Degrees and Certifications:

Señora Mann

This is my 17th year teaching in the SPF school district.  I began teaching at Terrill, but have spent the majority of my teaching career here at Coles.

I am a graduate of Rutgers University.  I hold a B.A. in Spanish and an M.Ed in Education.

I am a non-native speaker, that grew up in the town next-door.  I feel it is important for students to know that anyone can be a Spanish speaker.

The Elementary World Language Program begins with the study of Spanish in second grade and continues in sequence in grades three and four.

Instruction is delivered twice a week for 40 minutes to all second, third, and fourth grade students.

Students will be learning Spanish using puppets, storybooks, body language, and many songs.

Students will be involved in communicative games, language experience activities, songs, rhymes, children’s literature, physical activity, manipulation of props, role-plays, dialogues, small group work, paired work, and listening activities.
