  • November 11, 2019 kicks off Health and Wellness Week at Terrill Middle School!

Throughout the week, students will participate in activities that reinforce the importance of fitness, healthy eating habits, and positive approaches to cultivating personal and collective well-being.

Then on Friday, November 15, Terrill Middle School lunches will be getting a little bit healthier! To build on the Health and Wellness week momentum, students in grades 6-8 will participate in Healthy Eating Contests each Friday during the month of November, starting on the 15th. Tables will keep tabs of the healthy foods that they’ve eaten throughout the course of the lunch period with the official score sheet (attached) - each item translates to one point. In addition to other prizes, the table that has the highest point total at the end of the lunch period will be rewarded with an opportunity to line up first to buy lunch one day each week starting the week of November 18. In the spirit of kindness, however, the winning table does have the option of giving away their reward to another table. Healthy eating provides students with the energy to succeed in class and continue the process of spreading kindness around Terrill Middle School!
