1. Ackerman Coles Elementary School Suggested Supply List for Kindergarten

The following is a list of general supplies your child will need for kindergarten:

• 4 large glue sticks
• A 2-pocket folder
• A 1 inch binder
• One box of washable markers
• One 8 oz. bottle of washable glue
• A photo of the student (4x6) and a separate family photo
• An old shirt or smock labeled with your child’s name in large 
letters on the front
• One box of tissues to share with the class

• The following is a list of general supplies your child will need for first grade:
• 1 small bottle of Elmer’s Glue
• A block eraser
• 4 glue sticks
• A 2 pocket folder to be used for school mail
• An old shirt or smock labeled with your child’s name in large 
letters on the front
• 2 boxes of tissues
• One single spiral notebook labeled with “Poetry Notebook” 
and your child’s name
• One single spiral notebook labeled with “Word Study” and 
your child’s name
• One blunt point pair of kid’s scissors

• Optional supplies to help keep our classroom clean and germ-free:

• Tissues
• Baby wipes
