My name is Sandy Fehte and I have the privilege of being the Principal of J. Ackerman Coles Elementary School. Over the years, I have been a childcare director, instructional aide, teacher, assistant principal, board office director and principal.
I received my Bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University, my Master’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education, and a post-Master’s certificate in school leadership from the NJEXCEL program.
I am a native of NJ and spent most of my life here. When I’m not at Coles, I like to read, cook, play tennis, go to the beach, and watch my favorite sports teams (the New York Mets and the Dallas Cowboys). I also love to spend time with my husband, son, cat, and new grand-dog.
I look forward to continuing to partner with this amazing Coles parent community and our engaged faculty and staff to best support our students. Go Tigers!
