School One PTA's Mission:

  • Make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children.

  • The PTA (Parent Teacher Association) is a charitable organization that raises funds & oversees most of the extra-curricular activities presented at School One. 

    Today’s School One PTA offers you the tools and resources you need to stay engaged in your child’s academic and social success. 

    We encourage you to join our network of empowered, informed, and responsible parents, teachers, school administrators, mentors, and others who are experiencing the PTA difference.

     

    Consider joining a committee or becoming your child’s room parent.

    Our parent volunteers are what make it happen. Please review the list of committees, and consider trying one out. We have updated each of the committee descriptions, if you have any questions about which committee might best fit you, please contact us. 

      

    Each year the School One PTA provides:

    • The Science Fair, Beyond School Explorers, Book Fairs, Fall Festival, Child & Parents Socials & ALL School One Assemblies
    • Two $2,000 scholarships to graduating SPFHS seniors who went to School One
    • Over $10,000 in School One Teacher Grants
