Listed below is important information regarding the documents and other items currently stored in your Google Drive as well as your Gmail Account.After you graduate, your Scotch Plains-Fanwood email account will be disabled, and you will no longer be able to access your email and documents stored in the school district's Google Drive. In your use of the Google Workspace for Education, you may have created a collection of work that you would like to keep for reference or for posterity sake. It can be saved or transferred to another account, but it is important to understand the results of doing so.Your Google Workspace account and its contents were not scanned by Google for advertising purposes. If you transfer your work to a private Google Account, your work will be open to Google Analytics for advertising purposes. If you transfer to another provider, your work will fall under their privacy agreement.Your data can either be transferred to another Google Account, or can be archived for import into another system. In either case, it will take hours or even a few days to archive your data. Students attending the prom must arrive to school on time and remain in school until dismissal (12:30 pm). The prom is a school-sponsored event where all Board of Education rules, policies and regulations are strictly enforced.Students receive this information and a contract when the prom bids are purchased. Students must arrive to the prom by 7:00 pm and will be permitted to leave beginning at 11:00 pm. Once a student leaves the prom, he/she will not be permitted to return.
For all school-sponsored events, smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages is prohibited. Any student who comes to any school-sponsored event under the influence of any illegal substance will be excluded, and a parent, along with the police, will be contacted immediately. Such infractions will result in a student forfeiting their right to participate in the commencement services.
