Scotch Plains-Fanwood Public Schools

NOTICE TO BIDDERS The Board of Education of the Scotch Plains-Fanwood School District in the County of Union, New Jersey ("Board" when referring to the governing body and "School District" when referring to the territorial boundaries governed by the Board), will solicit bids for the financing for a tax-exempt lease purchase in an amount not to exceed $754,265 to acquire 1,450 Apple iPads with AppleCare and 250 keyboard cases, and any ancillary equipment. The term for financing the Equipment shall not exceed five (5) years. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the bid to a responsible bidder. All bidders are required to comply with the requirements of P.L. 1975, Chapter 127, and the provisions of N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-1 et seq., or more commonly known as the Public School Contracts Law. Sealed bids will be received prior to 1:00 p.m. prevailing time on May 28, 2025, at the offices of the Board, 313 South Avenue, Suite 200, Fanwood, New Jersey 07023, (908) 232-6161, Attn: Christopher Jones, Business Administrator/Board Secretary, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bids must be clearly marked "Tax-Exempt Lease Purchase Bid," and must contain, inter alia, the name and address of the bidder, and the date and hour of bid opening. Bids are to be submitted as follows: hand-delivery, tracked delivery service, certified mail return-receipt or e-mail. No bids are to be sent by regular mail. Based on varying reliability of mail and overnight delivery, in addition to the bid package provided to the Business Administrator/Board Secretary, please provide a copy of your bid via e-mail to cjones@spfk12.org along with any applicable tracking information for the paper submission.
