Name?David HeiseyWhat made you decide on a career in education?My love of history and politics along with my love of football and wrestling led me to teaching. I knew I could keep all of them in my life. Also, I always felt comfortable in school and enjoyed helping others.What do you like most about being a Principal?The people I work with and the students that I interact with on a daily basis. I learn something new every day. I am never bored or sedentary.What's your favorite snack food?Pizza, pretzels, chips and salsa, and I could go on but...How do you like to relax?Running, movies, reading, and yoga.How does your inner child react to the snow day call?I've always considered it a mental health day even when I was in college and high school. I took it as a sign to slow down and regroup.Is there anything else you'd like everyone to know about you?I've never considered teaching as a job, but rather a calling.
